Vaccine (immunisation) Reactions

The Immunisation Awareness Society (IAS) will be celebrating its 25th anniversary next year – some might say that is quite an achievement. However, if you speak with the brave women who started this organisation in 1988, they will no doubt see it as a failure that there is still a need for the IAS to exist at all.

The reason for this is that after 25 years of warning parents of the dangers of vaccinations (sometimes incorrectly termed “immunisation”), most parents are still not doing their research before having their children vaccinated with a toxic cocktail of heavy metals, antibiotics, cow cells etc. (just some of the ingredients which can be found in vaccines).

With only about 2-5% of all adverse reactions from vaccinations (or immunisations) being reported to the Centre for Adverse Reaction Monitoring/CARM (http://carm.otago.ac.nz/), the true impact that vaccine reactions are having on our society is simply not being monitored properly. I would like to share with you just a few of the stories which we receive via email on a daily basis, from people whose lives have changed forever due to the harms of vaccination. Their names have been changed and any identifying details removed for obvious reasons.

A very disturbing email we recently received, was from a middle-aged man named John*. He received his first ever flu shot and became ill within a week with chest, throat and sinus infections, as well as sinus migraines. John said that he felt as if he had been run over by a bus. This had already continued for 3 months by the time he got in touch with us and during this time, he went to a dozen different doctors to try and find a cure. Their only solution? To put him on series after series of antibiotics, to no avail.

Another recent email brought tears to my eyes, as it was from a mother, Anne*, whose daughter has been having daily seizures since her 3 month vaccinations. Having a similar-aged baby myself, I simply cannot imagine what I would do if this ever happened to my child. The worst part is hearing how parents, like Anne, struggle on a daily basis to live with the guilt of not researching vaccinations, before taking their children for their shots.

Catherine* contacted us after her baby experienced a hypotonic-hyporesponsive (HHE) episode after being vaccinated. She described the terror she felt seeing her baby so lifeless and she vowed to fully investigate the vaccination topic before deciding whether she would allow her children to receive any future vaccines.

We regularly receive emails from parents who notice big behavioural and health differences between their vaccinated and unvaccinated children. Unfortunately, it seems to be a common occurrence for parents to comply with the medical system by getting their first child vaccinated….then seeing a decline in their child’s health and/or behaviour….then starting to ask questions and doing their research…and consequently refusing to have any future children vaccinated. We recently posted a great article regarding this on our website – http://www.ias.org.nz/vaccines/vaccines-if-only-i-had-of-given-it-some-thought/

In an age where we are constantly seeking “scientific evidence” for everything, it is sad that a mother’s word means diddly squat. What I mean by this, is that even if we got 10 000 mothers together (which would be pretty easy to do!) who vowed that their unvaccinated children are healthier/better behaved than their vaccinated children, it sadly would mean nothing in the eyes of the scientific community or the media.

If you are reading this article and you have friends or family who have experienced an adverse vaccine reaction, or have had this happen to yourself, we urge you to get in touch with the Centre for Adverse Reaction Monitoring to have this event recorded. Until we all make the effort to have these events recorded, the medical establishment will continue to say that vaccine reactions are “minimal.”

If you are new to the vaccination debate, then you at least owe it to yourself and your family to visit the medsafe website (http://www.medsafe.govt.nz/), look up the datasheet for the vaccines you’re considering giving to your children (or whoever) and make sure you have a really good read of the possible adverse reactions caused by the vaccine. Also remember that these are only a list of the adverse reactions that have been reported. As mentioned earlier, only 2-5% of vaccine reactions are actually reported, so the list you’ll find on the datasheet is potentially only a fraction of the potential damage that you may be exposing yourself or your children to, by choosing to vaccinate.
