With the measles outbreak and unvaccinated children being made examples of and being treated appallingly by schools and the MoH, it is really important you know your rights…

No school can remove your unvaccianted children until they have positive proof that clinical measles is the diagnosis. Children cannot be removed on “suspicion” of measles. Any child who has come in contact with an actual m…easles case, cannot become “infectious” or pass that on to another person for AT LEAST 8 days. Therefore there is ample time for the district health board to insist on the proper testing methods, and confirm whether or not the “index” case is actually measles.

Know your rights, insist that expulsion of unvaccinated children only happens on the basis of provable scientifically valid diagnoses.
